Health & activity waiver
Reconnect Events sometimes include cold plunge, fire pit, breathwork, and movement. These activities carry real physical risk, including but not limited to: cardiovascular stress from cold water immersion, dizziness or fainting from breathwork, burns or smoke exposure near open fire, and general strain from physical movement.
Reconnect Events also take place at venues that may include outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces, uneven ground, open fire, and other features typical of the premises. I understand these conditions carry inherent risks (such as trips, falls, or exposure to the elements) and I agree to use reasonable care and follow posted instructions or facilitator guidance while on-site.
- I understand that certain medical conditions (including but not limited to heart conditions, pregnancy, or other conditions that may be affected by cold exposure, breathwork, or physical movement) may increase risk for specific activities at this event. I will consult my doctor before participating in any activity I am unsure about, and I will inform the facilitator on the day of the event of any relevant health conditions before taking part, so I can be advised on how to participate safely or choose to opt out of that activity.
- I understand participation in all activities is voluntary — I can opt out of cold plunge, breathwork, the fire pit, or movement at any time and still attend the rest of the event.
- I will follow all facilitator instructions on site.
- I release the organizer(s) of Reconnect from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from my attendance and voluntary participation, including but not limited to the specific activities and premises conditions described above, to the extent permitted by law.
